One Direction is an English/Irish pop boy band based in London. They originated from the show the X Factor in 2010, when Simon Cowell put the five boys together. The members of the band are Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. Zayn Malik, a past member had just recently quit the band in 2015. The band has came out with 4 albums so far, and although they had lost their fifth member, they are going to continue working. Their albums are Up All Night (2011), Take me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), and Four (2014). The band has also had a documentary called "This is Us" in 2014 which got over 60 million dollars worldwide, and has placed fourth highest in concert movies. Their most popular songs are "What Makes You Beautiful" (2011), "Best Song Ever" (2013), "Story of My Life" (2013), and "One Thing" (2011). My favorite One Direction song is "Moments", because it shows a lot of emotion and usually picks me up when I'm feeling down.
