twenty one pilots is a musical duo from Columbus, Ohio. The band formed in 2009, and its band members are Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. They have released a total of 5 albums, 2 of them in which they self-released, and the other 3 in which they got signed. Their most recent release - Blurryface was released on May 17, 2015. Tyler Joseph is the bands lead vocalist, its pianist, and ukulele player. Josh Dun is the bands drummer as of 2011. Their songs are mostly poetry-based written by both Tyler and Josh. There has been a lot of dispute in where to place this band into which genre, and most have described them as indie pop and alternative hip hop. Their most famous songs are "Car Radio" (2011), "House of Gold" (2013), "Stressed Out" (2015), "Tear in My Heart" (2015), and "Guns for Hands" (2011), which is personally my favorite.
