WALK THE MOON also known as WTM, is an American indie rock band that originated from Cincinnati Ohio. The band started in 2008, by lead singer Nicholas Petricca and went through many member changes, and came out with current members Nicholas Petricca as their lead vocalist and keys. Kevin Ray as their bass, backup vocals, and guitar. Sean Waugaman as their drummer and backup vocalist, and Eli Maiman as their guitarist and doing backup vocals. The band got their name from the song Walking on the Moon by The Police. The band's most well known albums are, Walk the Moon (2012), Tightrope (2013), and Talking is Hard (2014). Their most popular songs are "Shut Up and Dance", "Anna Sun", "Different Colors", and "Tightrope". However my favorite song by Walk the Moon is "Avalanche" on their Talking is Hard album.
